My first post on this blog. I suppose I should start by introducing myself. Hello, my name is Teodor and I’m a university student from Bulgaria. I study International Economic Relations in the University of Plovdiv. I’m also a new member of AIESEC which is an international students organization aiming at developing young people’s potential. So far my experience in it has been extremely pleasant. I met tons of new people, had problems remembering everybody’s name at the beginning but now I think I know most of them. I hope that AIESEC will have a positive impact on me and that I will be able to fully use everything it has to offer and benefit as much as possible.
Today was an interesting day to say at least… Spent over six hours in uni even though it’s Sunday because we (the AIESEC new recruits) were having a Sales Skills training. I think I got the basics and now I can’t wait to try them out in real situations. This was my first training and I’m glad I attended it and stayed till the end. I don’t think it was a waste of time. We will begin the process of raising companies next week and everything we learned today will come at handy.
ACT (AChieve Today) conference in Sofia is in just a few days, can’t wait! Only three days left.
