I’m irresponsible and other breaking news

After winning an award for top overall performance during the Raising Campaign people might have supposed I would have worked even harder till the end of the project. Unfortunately for me, that didn’t happen. I neglected a huge part of my work during the past two weeks… Way to be responsible!

The PboX (Project Based on Exchange) project on the other hand is going better. I’ve called all the schools and language centers I’ve been given, arranged 3 meetings and attended 3 meetings.

Over the course of all these events: the company meetings, phoning companies, ACT in Sofia and the trainings (Sales, Negotiation Skills, Gold of the Desert Kings, Communication Skills), I’ve improved in many ways, the only problem now is controlling my laziness. Sometimes I’m unwilling to do anything and I am capable of just sitting around, doing nothing. How can I change this? Why am I still so irresponsible? Will I fail my exams because of that? I’m sure I won’t fail my exams in uni, those are easy but High School was easy as well, so I didn’t spent any time preparing at home. BUT now it’s different. I’m studying the major I chose myself, first on my list. I want to establish my own business one day and work for my self, no bosses. So why do I refuse to study Economics? Firstly, because some of my teachers are awfully boring, they present everything in a dull, impractical way. Some like our Microeconomics teacher come drunk to work… I thought this was a good university but apparently none of them are and I shouldn’t have held back when I had the chance to apply for a foreign uni in another country. The only problem there is money, if only I had enough money to study somewhere else like in Blagoevgrad, that would be too good of a thing to happen to me, of course ;) But after all I chose this uni as well, so now I might as well make the best out of.

So now I’m ‘enjoying the winter holidays’ with my family. Christmas went by, no excitement, New Year is today and it will be almost the same with the only exception – we will be visiting family friends and “partying” with them (Wohooo!) .

Good things that happened to me lately:

+ Learnt to cook something.

+It was edible :D

+Awesome karaoke night on the 26th of December. Sang BTR – Elmaz i styklo, Depeche Mode – Enjoy the Silence, Karizma – Kolko mi lipsvash (with some stranger)

Bad things:

- No fun at Christmas

-Spending too much time on the PC or reading books instead of preparing for my upcoming exams in January.

- Didn’t sing Mad World by Gary Jules at Absolut. Maybe the DJ hates me :P
