One Year Later

It’s been over a year since I wrote in this blog. That’s a long time. A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same. I went to the USA, expecting miracles and came back empty-handed but with a dream. I want to live there forever. The american dream is very much real and I would like to live it.

Another day went by

Another day goes by and I did nothing useful, well nothing related to the exams anyway. In the morning I sang songs, read a chapter of Three Man in a Boat while sitting on the toilet seat. I had to go shopping again, bought bread, yellow cheese, and a box of cholocates for my birthday! Speaking of which, I ate this whole box all by myself. Naughty I have good news – the bank will give me the credit I need to cover my expenses for the trip to the USA this summer. This is great news! Also I got even more birthday wishes from friends and family! Yani called earlier this afternoon, she sure managed to cheer me up just when I was starting to feel a down again. I spent hours playing Perfect World which is completely pointless. Remind me not to do it again. The only good thing about it is that I met a guy from Spain and we talked about a few things – current state, plans, and friendship + when friendship turns into something more. Hehe, after which I played some Counter Strike and GunZ: The Duel with my brother. At some point I got really hungry so I had to stop for a few seconds but I did manage to play The Longest Journey while eating my dinner. Damn, this game is nice! The story is so involving, I want to know what happens next. But now it’s time to go to bed, I think I’ll take a shower first though.April Ryan, if only you existed in real life I don’t know why but I kinda love writing in this blog. I’m getting used to it. Like I said in a previous post, I love watching the words appear on screen and form sentences, strings of thoughts and emotions. It’s good practice, too. Without English classes in uni, it’s hard to keep in shape, so I’m doing my best not to forget the language. Soon it will be time to start the countdown to my trip to the USA. I just can’t wait to land in New York sometime in May. It will be awesome, best summer ever and if I have the time, I promise I’ll keep a diary, or at least some notes of what’s going on! Maybe I’ll find what I’ve been looking for right there in the land of opportunities? Who knows? Come on 450 words? This is pathetic. You can do better!

Well, that’s it for today. Tomorrow is a new day and I should finally get to studying. I promise I will! o_O

I think I finally found inspiration yesterday, lying in my bed. Darkness inspired me.

It’s a story about an ordinary person with extraordinary abilities. Whatever he writes, it happens within 24 hours. It begins with the man waking up in a dark room, the only light coming from a projector someone high up on the ceiling, illuminating into a blank space in front of him. It’s an empty notebook. Our hero knows what he has to do. The people who locked him here and chained him to the floor want to use him, make him write and accomplish their wishes.

Some random questions:

How limited is his power? What can he produce with this writing? Is it only concrete things, or anything at all he imagines? I think it’s a good idea to have some sort of limit because otherwise he’d go like “WORLD PEACE, NO MORE VIOLENCE” and it would happen, just like that. Additionally, there may be some “penalties” for using the power. Maybe he gets a headache or goes blind and his writing hand goes numb for some time?

Who are the people who got him? Are they a criminal group, an individual or the government? What happened to his family? How were his wife and daughter killed? What lies beneath the dark? How was his normal life like before he discovered this ability? Maybe he ocassionally got sudden urges to write a story when he was a kid, maybe he tried once but there was some secret to it, so nothing came true? “If I concentrate really hard and apply some pressure, a buzzing sound in his head, things I write come true. I can wish for anything as long as it exists and within 24 hours it appears exactly where I want it. Could be money, could be a truck full of lollipops, damn, it could even be weapons of mass destruction. It’s not safe to use my ability. I should never tell anyone about it.”

I found a song today accidentally on youtube. It turned out that there is a poem and the song was made using it, slightly rewording some parts.

(This was written by a young Indian girl who was in jail for drug charges, and was addicted to Meth. She wrote this while in jail. As you will soon read, she fully grasped the horrors of the drug, as she tells in this simple, yet profound poem. She was released from jail, but, true to her story, the drug owned her. Новогодишни изненади?

Знам, че няма как да помня всичко особено след като съм бил толкова малък, но често се случва да преоткривам неща за себе си, които съм позабравил. Все едно подреждам пъзел с много липсващи парчета, които трябва сам да открия. Много често съм се замислял… защо се отказах от пеенето. Може би съм имал реална възможност да се развия в тази посока, но съм я изпуснал. Още от малък съм си музикален. Майка ми често ми разправя как когато още съм бил малък (може би на около 4 години) всеки ден съм взимал един стол, слагал съм го по средата на стаята и съм пял. Освен това съм се будил всяка сутрин в 6 и познайте какво? Пак съм пял докато не се събудят всички. Не че сега не ми се случва, казват че пеенето рано сутрин се отразява зле на гласните струни, е аз пък не мисля така. Почти винаги започвам деня си с песен и така ми харесва. Та относно пеенето. Когато бях в първи клас имах възможност да бъда част от детска вокална група (с име Пуф Паф ), явно съм бил поне малко по-добър от останалите, защото винаги пеех главната част от песните, а другите ми припяваха. Участвал съм в няколко концерта, пял съм пред доста хора, но тогава не го осъзнавах. Сега щях да умра от сценична треска. През първата година пях предимно песни на Хайгашот Агасян. Веднъж на един концерт се случи така, че стана объркване, никой не ми беше казал, че няма аз да пея песента (“Хей приятелю здравей, мойта песничка запей, тя е нужна и дори прави хората добри”:)), цялата ни вокална група беше там само за да пее припева на някакво надуто момче в лъскав костюм. Стана така, че започнах да пея песента и микрофонът ми беше изключен, казаха ми, че съм се объркал и тогава разбрах… Стана ми супер гадно, че никой не ме беше предупредил. Самия Хайгашот Агасян беше на концерта, помня че му исках автограф… След този ‘фал’ малко се позамислих и с течение на времето станах по-несигурен. Във 2ри или 3ти клас се преместих в друго училище. Там също се записах в нещо като училищен хор, харесаха ме, помня как ни бяха наредили един до друг и ни караха да пеем част от една песен, след като ме чуха ми предложиха отново да пея аз по-голямата част от песента, не помня коя беше, няма значение, но помня вълнението ми, бях адски нервен и притеснен. Докато се прибирах си внуших, че това не е за мен, че си губя времето и дори че получавам главоболие И до там с моята ‘звездна кариера’, отказах се рано-рано. Иска ми се родителите ми да бяха обърнали повече внимание и да ме бяха убедили да продължа, все пак едно малко дете не трябва да решава съвсем само такива неща….
